I am planning to host Video Sharing website – Can anyone suggest me cheap hosting service? Any idea what would be my monthly expense?
Also, Can I host website & video’s at two different providers? and what questions should I be asking to providers?

Where can I find a Director of Photography for a low budget music video?
I’m about to shoot a low budget music video using a Sony HD-Z1 camcorder. I wanna find a Director of Photography that knows how to light for that camera. Is there a site where other DPs and/directors/producers (professional or amateur) can advertise themselves like a Myspace or Facebook?
www.cinematography.com- you can watch their reels and find links to their sites. Some of these guys are amateurs but many are professional unionized DPs and grips, so the pay rate will vary extremely.
Also try craigslist- I’ve got a DP job that way once.
Since its low budget video- you might try your local film school to see if any talented students will do it.

How do I recover video/pictures that I accidentally deleted on my digital camera last night?
Last night after a show I was going through my pictures and accidentally deleted the wrong video. I would really like to recover the video if this is possible. How could I go about recovering it from my digital camera? Instructions and tips are very welcome also!
Note: The video hadn’t yet been loaded into my computer. I was just reviewing it from my camera and deleted the video on there.

I am interested in television productions very much and I am wondering what kind of majors there are that involve the "behind-the-camera" stuff.
You should go into Media Production. I’m a little interested in that to. But my love for science drove me to want to go into the health care field.

a) make lots of little videos and then edit them together into one long video

Your first problem, as I see it, is going to be audio. With the on board mic you’re going to have lots of echos in the room and perhaps distortion. You’ll need some kind of sound system to make that happen.
You’re also going to need some better software than movie maker. It’s fine but it tends to create lots of noise in the video. I use a program by Roxio called Creator 10. It does a great job of editing but beware, as already said, that it supports your camera’s codec. The program retails for about $100.

I like wedding videos. If i were to film a wedding i’d film what everything looked like before it was set up and then show what it looks like after. I’d film people dancing, laughing smiling. The bride walking down the aisle and the speech and I Do’s. When the bride walks down id film her and then the grooms face to see how he looks seeing her. I’d film little kids dancing together or holding hands. The bride and groom smiling at each other. Just film everyone having a good time.

You didn’t say what your budget is? If you’re going to sell your services, your camera should be very reliable, produce high quality video (lens), have XLR capable audio inputs (you’re going to need wireless mikes on different frequencies), low light capable, etc.
Also, have you ever edited footage before? There’s lots to consider before going into this kind of business.
