I need a song for a video that I am putting together for my reception. The video contains photos of me and my fiance from childhood to now. I have Rascal Flatts (god bless the broken road)….Now I need another.???

I’m starting a videography business (Weddings, parties, etc.) and have never bought a professional camcorder. I don’t know what to look for and would like some help on picking out the best one for not only a beginner like myself, but someone who is on a bit of a budget. (Nothing more than 2,000$)

I want to put streaming video on my website. We are looking for something which is higher quality than the free services such as Google video and Youtube. But, we do need to work within a budget.

I prefer events that are relatively recent, like in the last 50 years (i.e. Chernobyl incident, Munich massacre), where media either played a role, or influenced its reception/how people looked at the event. Specific events appreciated… Thanks. I’m all out of ideas here.

The media plays a far bigger part than you realise ! Beware !

I recorded my video with a tape instead of the memory card. I installed the program that came with the video camera. I plugged the USB cable into the computer, but nothing happened. The computer didn’t detect the USB. I want to edit my video with Windows Movie Maker. Can I do this with a tape?

You can use Windows Movie Maker or other video editing software. Tape or card does not matter. Here’s the process:

. Connect the camcorder to the computer with the USB cable. Turn on the camcorder and put it in playback mode. Rewind to the beginning of your video and then put in Play (Standby) mode.

. Launch Windows Movie Maker and start the Capture video function. WMM will send a command to the camera to start playing and copying (capturing) the video.

. Complete other steps in your project and save it.

If it does not start, look in My Computer and see if the camcorder shows as a removable drive. If not, you may have to reinstall the software.

an investor wants to finance my TV production company, what should i offer him in return? he is putting up 100% of the money. I am a creative writer and will be writing the original concepts for the TV shows and I will aslo be producing the programming.

Was a legal contract developed? What were the terms of the agreement.
I would suggest a percentage to any profits you make rather than a set dollar amount, that way you aren’t lurched in the hole.
Another suggestion is consult a entertainment lawyer, every case is difference-but seriously, plucking down $200 for a hour of a lawyer’s time could save months and years from a slighted investor. Best of luck!

I downloaded a music video, but the picture is really bad. It’s not on youtube, itunes, amazon (I checked). Are there any free websites that can make it have high quality picture without having to download anything? Help would be greatly appreciated.

It´s been a while since I uploaded my last MPC video and this video is the reason for that.
This is my biggest MPC project to date, I started this like a year ago but one day my hard drive broke and I lost all my unfinished projects, so about 3 weeks ago I decided to start this medley once again.

This was so much fun to make, I worked for 3 weeks for around 1 or 2 hours per day using the original soundfont, 45 files were used for almost 10 minutes of music.

All of the songs were made by ear, and some by memory and as usual I aimed for creative remixes of each theme and smooth transitions, I tried to give some chronological order to the songs going from the early arcades to the Wii era (I skipped the Gamecube era because I was near the 10 minutes time limit of youtube, I was gonna include Dragon Roost Island and MKDD´s Rainbow Road, maybe next time.

All of the songs included in this medley are from video games that I grew up playing, so before posting comments like “where´s the PS2 and XBox love?” remember that I´m a big Nintendo fan since I was a child.

“Spending My Time”, written by Per Gessle, was the fourth single released from Swedish pop duo Roxette’s 1991 album Joyride. It peaked at number 32 on Billboard’s Hot 100. A remix was created by MC King Carli and Dr Renault at EMI Studios in Stockholm, Sweden in July 1991, and was included on the single.

Roxette is a Swedish pop music duo, consisting of Marie Fredriksson and Per Gessle. They had worldwide success, especially from the late 80s until the mid 90s. They achieved four US #1 singles “The Look”, “Listen to Your Heart”, “It Must Have Been Love” and “Joyride”. Two further singles “Dangerous” and “Fading Like a Flower” scored number 2.

Roxette’s popularity and success was even greater in other territories such as Europe, Australia or South America, where they continued to earn Gold and Platinum awards until the beginning of the new millenium.

They have sold an estimated 45 million albums and 25 million singles worldwide, with over 2.7 million albums sales in the United States.
