What is the average pay for a wedding video editor?
Usually 2-4 tapes (2 hours on average) of footage. I use my own computer at my home and it takes about 12-14 hours. The final product is on an authored DVD. Currently I get $100. Am I being low balled?
I agree with the other answer. You should be getting paid almost double. Seems like you are being low balled. I would definitely consider adjusting your prices. People WILL pay for video of their wedding…jack those prices up!

Are DVDs and video games appropriate for Parcel Post mailing services?
Just selling some stuff on eBay.. post office is closed.. anyone have any idea?
DVDs and CDs can be mailed via Media Mail, but for single items, it is often cheaper to send them first class.
Media mail is for books, music, learning materials. It is very cheap for heavy stuff, but slow. What I do is make sure I put on the address, the Zip+4 and barcode and it cuts a day or 2 off the shipping time.
A single DVD can usually be send cheaper by first class mail, for under $1. Consider it.
Any video tutorials for studio portrait photography online, to learn diifeerent lighting techniques?
I have to take portraits of people for my assignment and I want to learn different lighting techniques to get the best possible portraits with different lighting.
A company by the name of Calumet used to have some excellent tutorials that can be had for free on a CD and occasionally at their website – - and while they use the session to trumpet their own brands of lighting equipment you can easily improvise and create very similar results using other fixtures in the same lighting setups. How to convert a video cassette so you can have it on your computer?
I have video cassette tapes that you can play in a video player so you can watch it on tv but I am making a tribute type movie for someone and I need that footage to be in it. So I would some how need to save that video cassette on my computer (format shouldn’t matter). Also do you know any video editing programs, currently I use Windows Movie Maker and Cyber Link Power Director. I have a PC so I don’t think I can use iMove although I love their effects.

How do you become part of a pit orchestra for large productions?
Also, if you know, how much, on average, do they get paid? I want badly to get into musical theatre, but I’m not sure if my acting or singing is good enough to be on stage. I know, however, that I have talent playing the alto saxophone.
I agree that joining a musicians union or guild is the surest way to get into a pit orchestra, but I’d try asking someone who’s actually in one. I’m not sure of pit orchestra salaries, but I know that in big symphonies like the Boston Symphony, salaries can reach up to $100,000!
How do you get music videos onto your video Ipods?
I have a few music videos and everytime I update my Ipod, they dont get on. I’m pretty positive that the video formats are acceptable on ipods. Anyone know why?
I think your talking about the USB port..and I’m asking how do you get videos on if you already HAVE them.
If iTunes says they are not compatible when you try to download them then you need to convert them using Videora (freeware). The iPod only supports videos in the .mp4, .mov or .m4v or MPEG-4 formats and nothing else. videora will convert any video media you have to be played back on the iPod. But if as you say they aren’t working then see if Videora fixes the problem by converting them with it.
