“50,000 views in 4 and a half months, thanks!”

It´s been a while since I uploaded my last MPC video and this video is the reason for that.
This is my biggest MPC project to date, I started this like a year ago but one day my hard drive broke and I lost all my unfinished projects, so about 3 weeks ago I decided to start this medley once again.

This was so much fun to make, I worked for 3 weeks for around 1 or 2 hours per day using the original soundfont, 45 files were used for almost 10 minutes of music.

All of the songs were made by ear, and some by memory and as usual I aimed for creative remixes of each theme and smooth transitions, I tried to give some chronological order to the songs going from the early arcades to the Wii era (I skipped the Gamecube era because I was near the 10 minutes time limit of youtube, I was gonna include Dragon Roost Island and MKDD´s Rainbow Road, maybe next time.

All of the songs included in this medley are from Video games that I grew up playing, so before posting comments like “where´s the PS2 and XBox love?” remember that I´m a big Nintendo fan since I was a child.

I saw a music video recently in which the singer (female) was dressed in a red venus fly trap inspired dress. I remember the description of the video said the band was like a ‘goth Postal Service’ or something like that.

I have no idea, but you just reminded me of "Little Shop of Horrors".

I am a complete beginner in the field of music video creation, and I need to know what would be the best software to get, either free or not, in order to make quality music videos. I need one that has everything you need in it to make a music video. Does anyone know of some really good software I could use for this?

TECHNICAL EXPLANATION FOR GEEKS LIKE US: We changed shirts over 100 times each, taking individual pictures of each unique shirt. The designs on the shirts are not photoshopped. They are real shirts for each frame of animation. The video was exported at 30fps, while the T-shirt animation moves at 6fps (with a few exceptions where it moves faster) So, for each shirt, we took 5 pictures, so the animation of us (Rhett&Link) moves at 30fps, but the T-shirt animations move a bit slower. There are a few places where the motion seems so smooth that it looks like video. That’s because, in those parts, there was no changing in T-shirts, and Joe used burst mode to capture the frames, making it look very smooth.
