There isn't much difference between high definition videography and standard definition videography.

Hidef uses 4x more data which is why it is crisp and clear.

What are you wanting to learn about? The technical aspects or the creative side? Do you want to learn the difference between HDV and AVCHD? How to take advantage of MP4 file types?

Entry level film and photography courses and books will teach about the "rule of thirds" for framing a shot. Camera angles, zoom, aperture, iris, microphones and all the other "basics" should probably be learned first...

Story-boarding, script writing, and all that comes in another group of information.

Audio, sound design, mic types and when to use them, and foley comes in another group of information.

Makeup, wardrobe, and that sort of stuff is in another group...

There is a whole lot more, but this is all about film and videography in general - what are you looking for that makes HD so special?
